An ACK led event was on for private viewing (cool people only basically) on the 18th of April 2012. I went there not knowing exactly what I was going to, but I had tickets so I called up the boys and went. I knew it had something to do with recycling and being environmentally friendly, but i didnt know much more than that.
Turns out, its an annual event. Its like an exhibition of some sort where EVERYTHING (seriously, everything) is environmentally friendly, that means its either recycled, renewable energy, re-used stuff, re-used art. It was wonderfully refreshing to see something like this. For those who dont know me, im actually quite environmentally “alert” lets say. Not a total wack-job like some people out there who tie themselves to trees (Aziz), but not a gas guzzler either.
Anyway, iPhone out, I started clickin away with some photos of the guys alongside everything there. Also, I thought one of the highlights of the day was the Moroccan singer Simo Langnawi, who started playing using a recycled musical instrument! ;p As well as singing some very traditional Moroccan cultural music. Its running until the 22nd if im not wrong, so you wont go wrong checking it out.
